Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using TripChronos ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

These terms explain how you can use TripChronos, what we expect from you, and what you can expect from us. We've tried to keep them clear and fair.

Description of Service

TripChronos is a travel journaling application that allows you to:

Record and organize your travel memories with photos and notes
Track your trips on an interactive map
View statistics about your travel history
Share trip reports with friends and family
Connect with friends to compare travel statistics

Account Requirements

Apple ID Required

TripChronos requires an Apple ID with iCloud enabled to store and sync your data. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID and any activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to use TripChronos. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create in TripChronos, including:

Photos and images you add to your trips
Notes, descriptions, and other text you write
Trip itineraries and location data you record

Your Data, Your Control

Your content is stored in your personal iCloud account. We do not claim any ownership or license to your content beyond what is necessary to provide the service.

Acceptable Use

When using TripChronos, you agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any laws
Share content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality or servers
Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
Create multiple accounts to abuse features or evade restrictions

Intellectual Property

TripChronos and its original content (excluding user content), features, and functionality are owned by TripChronos and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The TripChronos name, logo, and app icon are trademarks of TripChronos. You may not use these marks without prior written permission.

Third-Party Services

TripChronos integrates with the following third-party services:

Apple iCloud

Your data is stored and synced via Apple's iCloud service. Your use of iCloud is subject to Apple's terms of service.

Apple MapKit

Maps and location services are provided by Apple MapKit. Your use of these features is subject to Apple's terms.

Disclaimer of Warranties

TripChronos is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
Any defects will be corrected
The App will meet your specific requirements
Location data or map information will be accurate

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TripChronos shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

Loss of data or content
Loss of profits or revenue
Business interruption
Any other intangible losses

This limitation applies regardless of whether the damages arise from use or inability to use the App, unauthorized access to your data, or any other matter relating to the App.

Termination

You may stop using TripChronos at any time by deleting the App from your device. You can also delete all your data from within the App's settings before uninstalling.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms of Use. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new terms within the App or on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which TripChronos operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
